An instant pot bourbon chicken may not sound like the right meal for you, but I promise you, once you have tried it, you won’t look back. This recipe is both unique and decadent, mixing all sorts of flavors to create umami, sweetness, spice, and pungency.
Try This Instant Pot Bourbon Chicken To Add Some Flavor To Your Life

Everybody can use a little flavor in their life!
For this yummy dish, I prefer to use chicken, salt, black pepper, onion, soy sauce, ketchup, oil, garlic, red pepper flakes, and honey. As you may have noticed, this is a PG meal that does not contain bourbon, but the flavor will be just right nonetheless.
You can always substitute some of these ingredients, try using turkey, pork, Cayenne pepper, paprika, powdered onion, powdered garlic, Worcestershire sauce, sugar, and tomato sauce.
To begin cooking, all you have to do is place everything in your instant pot. Cook at high pressure for about 15 minutes, but add more time if your chicken is frozen. Allow the pressure to release naturally for about 5 minutes and then use the quick release for the rest of the pressure.
Once cool, you should remove the chicken and cut it into cubes. Set your pot to sauté, and add the combined cornstarch and water mixture. Cook with the chicken for another 2-3 minutes until everything is thick.
Freezing and Unfreezing the Instant Pot Bourbon Chicken
If you prefer to save this recipe for later, combine everything in a freezer-safe container except for the cornstarch and water. Once ready, add to your instant pot and follow the instructions as directed above.
This meal takes no time to make and tastes just like a BBQ joint! You will never get bored of the sweet and savory flavors of this dish.
