While an instant pot roast beef doesn’t necessarily sound like a big deal, I find this sweet and savory recipe to be incredibly pleasant for everyone. The nice thing about this recipe is that you can keep it for later, saving yourself the time and effort of cooking as well.
Try Making This Instant Pot Roast Beef For Dinner Tonight!

To prepare this meal, you will need beef roast, onions, fresh cranberries, orange juice, water, brown sugar, regular sugar, and cinnamon. You can always substitute some of these, for whatever you deem necessary. Use things like stew meat, pork, leeks, dry cranberries or cranberry juice, orange slices, and honey.
If you are ready to start cooking, I suggest you start by combining the sweet ingredients first. This means mixing the cranberries, orange juice, water, sugar, and cinnamon in your instant pot. Be sure to mix everything well until the cranberries begin to swell up and burst.
After this step, you can add the meat and onions and begin to pressure cook everything. I suggest setting your instant pot to 40 minutes, but the time may vary depending on the cut of beef you choose to use. I also allow the pressure to naturally release for about 15 minutes.
Freezing and Unfreezing the Roast Beef
If you want to save the roast beef for later, simply allow for it to cool down and divide it among various containers. Make sure to label your roast so you can use it in time and for optimal flavors. Now you have a new sweet and savory dish that will satisfy everyone, regardless of the occasion! This instant pot roast beef can become a holiday favorite or a weekly dish. You can enjoy this roast with some rice or potatoes and a side green salad.
